Castle Gardens Open

Scotland’s castles boast some of the finest gardens in the world, and gardens open days offer the ideal opportunity to see castles in their settings – often a chance to catch a beautiful view of a rarely seen castle or a ruined fortress in the garden.

We have divided this page into two sections. The first section contains gardens which are open on selected dates over the next three months under Scotland’s Gardens Scheme – and we will be adding more openings by castle owners shortly. Follow the links to view the gardens and check out opening times and visiting arrangements.
