We had a wonderful welcome from Phill and Meryl Plevey at the magnificent Craigietocher Tower, Turriff, for our Summer Picnic. Craigietocher is a masterpiece, designed by the Pleveys and built from scratch in the style of a 16^th century fortified tower house and with all the comforts of a contemporary home. A labour of love that was more than a decade in the making, Craigietocher continues the grand tradition of castle building, featuring exquisite craftsmanship including painted ceilings by Jennifer Merridew and carving by Paul Mowbray.
