Many thanks to Built Environment Forum Scotland (BEFS) for reporting the outcomes of our SCA Conference, Scotland’s Castles – Use Them or Lose Them.

The report highlights how we can encourage more people to restore and use Scottish castles – not through major policy changes, but by providing practical tools, solutions and support.

In the coming months we will be working with BEFS to take forward the agenda, in collaboration with planning professionals, fellow heritage organisations and everyone who loves Scotland’s castles.
